The first strike of the Borsa Italiana group will take place on June 27th, marking an important date. The banking trade organizations Fabi, First-Cisl, and Fisac-Cgil have announced a jointly organized mobilization that will conclude with the cessation of work during the final two hours of Thursday's activity. According to a union note, despite the systemic importance of the Borsa Italiana group's companies, the unions condemn the Euronext group's continuous and systematic divestment in Italy, as well as the internal depletion of Italian structures. The strike will not be the only form of protest; a ban on on-call and overtime work will be implemented in the coming days, until July 14. The unions are concerned about the country's employment stability, the lack of wage adjustments to the new national credit agreement, work organization, and the progressive loss of managerial and strategic autonomy of Borsa Italiana's Italian companies.
