Over 50,000 offers on Italian products, with unrivaled success in the food, personal care, and furniture sectors. These are the results of the third edition of Amazon's Made in Italy Days, an initiative in which the American behemoth promotes the export of Italian companies. 50% of the recorded sales came from outside the country: Italian products have dominated the markets of Germany, the United States, and the United Kingdom. Amazon launched global promotions from May 27 to June 2 that rewarded companies in five Italian regions: Lombardy, Campania, Emilia-Romagna, Tuscany, and Veneto. According to Giulio Lampugnani, director of logistics services at Amazon EU, this is a success "for the Italian companies that have chosen our online store. The current goal is to help them reach €4 billion in foreign sales by 2025".
