The trophy that will go to the Euro2024 winners is produced in the Veneto plant of Iaco Group, a leading company with headquarters in Campania, near Avellino. The European Championship dream cup, 8 kilos in weight and 60 centimeters in height, all made of silver, was presented in Munich during the opening ceremony of the event and will be awarded after the July 14 final in Berlin. The hope, of course, is that Luciano Spalletti's Azzurri will be able to bring it home, defending the continental title won in England three years ago. The Iaco Group, which also has a plant in Lugano, Switzerland, won the contract in 2007 to produce the Uefa trophies, which until that year were produced in London at Asprey's Royal Jewelers on Bond Street. The Cup for the European Champions is made entirely by Italian master craftsmen. It is an evolution of the trophy that the Azzurri raised to the sky in 2021, and it took five months of work to make.
