Silvio Berlusconi Editore is coming. The new publishing house, which was created within the Mondadori Group with the intention of focusing on liberal and democratic thought, will debut on September 5 with an essay by Tony Blair on the art of governing at the same time worldwide. "Silvio Berlusconi Editore," explains Marina Berlusconi, Chairman of the Group, "will have a very precise objective: to fight for the concept of freedom and to give voice to its most varied declinations, while keeping itself absolutely distant from any form of political militancy. We decided to name this new publishing house after my father, Silvio Berlusconi, because on freedom he founded his projects, his achievements, his life. Without ever accepting compromises," Marina Berlusconi explains, "Getting back to talking about freedom today is more important than ever. Our society, the Western one, appears more and more threatened: think of wars, the strengthening of autocratic regimes, the aversion that not a few among us show toward the values on which we have built our history, starting precisely with the most precious good we have, freedom. A good that today we see called into question”.
