A 19-year-old man was arrested by agents from the Pontedera police station (Pisa) on the order of the investigating judge of the Pisa court, which was issued at the request of the prosecutor's office. The accusation is of sexual assault and severe injuries to a peer. The incident occurred on a June night outside a local nightclub, shortly after the two teenagers had met. Following the attack, the girl went to the hospital, where she was admitted with injuries that were deemed healable in at least 20 days. The victim's complaint sparked the investigation. According to the reconstructions, the young man, who has no criminal record and is of Italian descent, would have abused the girl while filming the various stages of the violence on his phone. The victim's description and the young man's Instagram nickname helped the police identify, track down, and arrest him.
