A new earthquake swarm in the Phlegraean Fields starting at 3:09 p.m. yesterday. According to data from the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology, the most intense tremor, of magnitude 2.9, was recorded at 3:10 p.m. with the epicenter near the north pier of the Puteolian harbor. No personal or property damage is reported at the moment. Three other quakes, ranging in magnitude from 2.5 to 2.8, were recorded within minutes, all at a depth of 3 kilometers. The succession of earthquakes created moments of great apprehension in and around Pozzuoli, but without causing any damage.
