Antonio Nicoletti, son of former Magliana gang historian Enrico Nicoletti, and Vincenzo Senese, son of Michele Senese, believed to be the head of the Camorra in Rome, are among those arrested in the maxi operation conducted by the Anti-Mafia Investigative Directorate (DIA) and the Anti-Mafia District Directorate (DDA) of Rome. The operation led to the issuance of 18 precautionary measures and the seizure of assets worth a total of €131 million. Among the recipients of the precautionary measures are film producer Daniele Muscariello and music manager Angelo Calculli. Also among those arrested are Roberto Macori and Salvatore D'Amico. The investigation, coordinated by addition Ilaria Calò, uncovered elements indicating the existence of two separate criminal organizations. According to the Rome Public Prosecutor's note, these organizations were involved in laundering large illegal profits, progressively infiltrating seemingly legal business activities operating in sectors as diverse as filmmaking, construction, logistics, automobile and hydrocarbon trading.
