There will be no new trial in Brescia for Olindo Romano and Rosa Bazzi. This is what was decided by the judges of the Court of Appeal who declared inadmissible the requests for revision presented by the spouses and the substitute prosecutor of Milan, Cuno Tarfusser. Olindo Romano and Rosa Bazzi therefore remain sentenced to life imprisonment for the Erba massacre of December 2006 which caused four deaths, including a two-year-old child. The children of Mario Frigerio, a survivor of the Erba massacre who became the main witness in the trial, who before the sentence had expressed, through their lawyer for the civil party, the desire for everything to end "because they can't take it anymore". In court in Brescia there was no queue of curious people unlike in previous hearings.
