Taylor Swift's "The Eras Tour" will include two concerts at Milan's San Siro stadium on Saturday and Sunday. 130 thousand spectators from all over the world are expected (one in every four is estimated to be American). Dates were sold out for months, with a surge in train ticket bookings and stays. The "Swifteconomy" will generate a total economic spin-off of 176.6 million, which is the result of the double Italian date. The highest cost will be for lodging, followed by catering services, concert tickets, and local transportation. To date, bookings at the city's hotel and non-hotel facilities have increased compared to the same weekend the previous year. Hotel growth is 4%, while B&Bs and holiday homes are up 11%. Tourist arrivals from Milan airports are also up compared to the same weekend last year. Until next Monday, Linate and Malpensa airports are expected to see an 8.7% increase in traffic compared to the same period in 2023, with over 540 thousand passengers arriving and departing.
