Work life balance, training and flexibility. This is the trifecta of characteristics of the ideal company for Italians, who - regardless of age - in choosing a job break generational barriers and look more at personal well-being than earnings. When it comes to the quality of the ideal company in which to work, Italians in fact put in first place free time for other life activities (51.5%), in second place the opportunity to grow and develop skills through training offerings (40.7%), and in third place flexibility in work times and places (40.5%). Next, attention to issues of welfare packages (34.5%), gender equality, diversity and inclusion (27.5%) and salaries above the average for their peers (27%) appear. In last place is earning a lot for many hours worked (11%). These are the findings of the research "Relationship between generations in the world of work" carried out by Heineken Italia and conducted by AstraRicerche on a sample of more than 1,000 workers to investigate the relationship between Baby Boomers (1946-64), GenX (1965-80), Millennials (1981-96) and GenZ (1997-2012).
