During the search for Francesca Deidda, the 42-year-old woman who went missing in May from San Sperate in southern Sardinia, parts of a dead body were found. The grisly discovery occurred near the Roman bridge, near the old Sardinian State Highway 125 Orientale, in San Priamo. The search, which had resumed this morning with the help of a molecular dog, led to the discovery of the human remains. Coroner Roberto Demontis is expected at the scene to make initial findings.
