Matteo Berrettini returned to winning ways as he triumphed in the final against Quentin Halys in the Atp 250 tournament in Gstaad, Switzerland, with a score of 6-3, 6-1 in exactly one hour of play. The Roman broke the Frenchman's serve in the first set, revving up the engine (and taking advantage of his opponent's errors) in the second. It is the ninth career title for Berrettini, a previous winner on Swiss soil in 2018. "It seems like yesterday that I won here in Gstaad, so much has happened in the meantime. It's a special place, I feel the same energy, the same feelings as 6 years ago," Berrettini said after the match.
