"This is the last stage of this state visit to Brazil, a very engaging journey for me". This is what the President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella, said during his meeting with the Italian community in Salvador, the final stop on his state visit to Brazil. The Head of State traveled from Rio de Janeiro to Salvador, where he visited the Franciscan Community of Bethany. The center is dedicated to educating children who live in disadvantaged communities, guiding them through all stages of their development, from kindergarten to high school. The President then met with an Italian community representative in Salvador.
