Louis Vuitton will open its first Italian restaurant in Milan. The address will be Via Monte Napoleone 2, inside the Taverna Radice Fossati building. The building was chosen to house some of the LVMH group's most prestigious brands, including Bulgari, Tiffany and, of course, Louis Vuitton. This new opening represents the French brand's debut in the Italian restaurant business, and it is rumored that the kitchen will be entrusted to the Cerea brothers. The opening, expected no earlier than 2025, is part of Louis Vuitton's expansion strategy in the lifestyle sector, which already includes pastry shops and luxury restaurants in cities such as Paris, Tokyo, and Osaka. The deal adds to the list of luxury brands increasingly seeking to offer experiences that reflect brand values and identity. LVMH, under the leadership of entrepreneur Bernard Arnault, also has in its portfolio names related to the world of spirits, such as Moët & Chandon, Krug, and Veuve Clicquot, to name a few, as well as maisons such as Bulgari, which already has esteemed restaurants in its many international hotels.
