Tiziano Renzi and Laura Bovoli, parents of Italia Viva party leader and former prime minister Matteo Renzi, were sentenced to 3 years, 2 months, and 15 days in prison by a Florence court for false invoicing and were acquitted of fraudulent bankruptcy of the cooperatives Delivery Service Italia, Europe Service. Matilde Renzi, sister of Italia Viva's leader, was also acquitted in the trial stemming from the bankruptcy of the leafleting and advertising services cooperatives Marmodiv, Delivery Service, and Europe Service, which are linked to Eventi 6 srl, the former premier's parents' company.
