Paola Marella, architect and television host, died in Milan at the age of 61. Long suffering from cancer, she was a landmark of the design world. Among her programs "Desperately Seeking a House" and "Desperately Selling a House", "A Dream for Rent" and “How I'd Like It”, which aired on HGTV. Her last working post on Instagram was four days ago. Of her disease, against which she had been fighting since 2011, she had spoken in an interview with Panorama magazine in 2021 in which she called for prevention and courage in facing cancer: "The message we must send is that we must not be afraid, that we are not alone, that unfortunately the disease comes but today thanks to science we know how to deal with it".
