Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati Lenovo Team) gives himself the third double win of the season in Motegi: he wins the Sprint and long race of the Motul Grand Prix of Japan. Nothing wrong for “Pecco”: he dominated from start to finish, delivering to Italy victory number 900 in all categories and entering the club of riders able to win eight races in MotoGP in a single season, thus joining Marc Marquez, Casey Stoner, Valentino Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo. Nice comeback for Jorge Martin (Prima Pramac Racing) who started 11th and finished second ahead of Marc Marquez (Gresini Racing MotoGP). Jorge now has a ten-point margin over “Pecco” while Enea Bastianini (Ducati Lenovo Team), fourth today, is third in the standings by two lengths over Marquez.
