It's official: Roma has exonerated Ivan Juric. Fatal for the Croatian coach was yesterday's home defeat against Bologna, with the announcement coming minutes after the end of the match. "We thank Ivan Juric for his commitment in recent weeks," the club statement read, "he handled a difficult situation with professionalism, and we wish him the best for the future". Roma has already begun the search for a new coach, and possible candidates include Roberto Mancini, although the deal does not appear straightforward. Juric's experience on Roma's bench was short: in 12 games he had 4 wins, 3 draws and 5 defeats, results that did not convince the club, already looking for a turnaround after the exoneration of Daniele De Rossi. The former Torino coach's adventure had started well, with a win over Udinese, a Europa League draw against Athletic Bilbao and a victory over Venezia. However, defeats against Elfsborg, Inter, Fiorentina and recent falls against Verona and Bologna marked the point of no return.
