"In the three-year period 2025-2027, the resources allocated to specific measures for the Mezzogiorno could suffer an overall reduction of €5.3 billion," reports Svimez, the Association for the Development of Industry in the Mezzogiorno, in its Memoir on the Maneuver filed with the Chamber. The document estimates the financial impact of the measures for the South contained in the Maneuver, including the repeal of the South decontribution, the Mezzogiorno Intervention Fund, the ZES Unica tax credit and the contribution relief for newly hired ZES Unica employees, with a reduction of €1.78 billion in 2025, €2.92 billion in 2026 and €625 million in 2027.
