Milan confirms its position at the top of the ranking of Italian provinces in terms of quality of life, despite ranking last in terms of security and crime. This is what emerges from the 26th edition of the survey conducted by ItaliaOggi and Ital Communications in collaboration with La Sapienza University of Rome. The Lombard capital surpasses Bolzano, which loses its first position dropping to second place, followed by Monza and Brianza in third, Bologna in fourth and Trento in fifth. Among major Italian cities, Florence ranks eighth, while Turin is 23rd and Rome 24th. Naples, on the other hand, ranks 95th. The survey shows a clear gap between the northern and southern regions, where social and personal difficulties are intensifying. Caltanissetta closes the ranking as the province with the lowest quality of life, preceding Reggio Calabria (second to last, down 11 places from last year), Agrigento, Cosenza and Messina.
