In the first nine months of 2024, the Fincantieri shipbuilding group's revenues increased by 3.7% to 5.58 billion euros, compared to 5.38 billion in the same time last year. Above all, the value of new orders acquired by the group more than doubled to 8.5 billion euros, up +110.5% from 4.04 billion in the same period of 2023. The Italian group's shipbuilding industry generated 4.12 billion euros in revenue, with 2.76 billion dedicated to cruise ships and 1.33 billion to military ships. The offshore and special boats section added €917 million (+29.2%), while the systems, components, and infrastructure segment added €1.04 billion (+31.6%).
