"The Ministry of Foreign Affairs runs a PNRR program called Roots Tourism, with the goal of introducing people of Italian origin to their roots. This also applies to the traditional cuisine of Italian countries of origin. The aim is always to nurture tourism in small villages and to introduce people to realities less traveled by mass tourism. Traditional cuisine is definitely a strategic viaticum, thanks to the many culinary varieties to be promoted". These were the words of Antonio Tajani, Vice-President of the Council and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, during the presentation event of the ninth edition of the Week of Italian Cuisine in the World, at the Farnesina.
