Italy's reputation as a destination for food and wine tourism is growing. A sector that appears to know no crisis and still has a lot of untapped potential. In fact, Grand View Research predicts that wine tourism will rise at an annual pace of +12.9% over the next five years, while culinary tourism will grow at +19.7%. Trips for "cheese lovers" have also increased, by 7.3% in the last three years, and are primarily chosen by the very young, aged 18 to 24 years.
