The 60th edition of the Biennale Arte 2024 concluded with extraordinary results: over 700,000 tickets sold, an 18% increase compared to 2019, making it the second most attended edition after the record of 2022. Between pre-opening and exhibition days, the event attracted an average of 3,300 people each day, with foreign visitors accounting for 59% of the total. Young people played an especially important role: approximately 190,000 students under the age of 26 (or 30% of total visitors) attended the exhibition, with a 20% rise in elementary schools and a 35% increase in international school attendance. The 2024 edition is notably remarkable for its focus to accessibility and inclusiveness, with a 67% increase in participation from vulnerable groups. This success demonstrates the Biennale's expanding interest in making contemporary cultural heritage accessible to those with impairments or living in low-income communities.
