The countdown to the Sanremo Festival 2025 has officially begun. From February 4 to 8, the Ariston stage will host one of the most eagerly awaited editions and, judging by the names announced, also among the richest in novelties. Carlo Conti, the kermesse's new artistic director and host, unveiled the 30 Bigs in the competition, promising a mix that embraces tradition and innovation. Among the "classics" stand out icons such as Massimo Ranieri and Marcella Bella, while the younger scene will be represented by up-and-coming artists such as Olly, Clara, Gaia, Tony Effe, and Sarah Toscano, fresh winner of Amici. There is no shortage of big names in contemporary pop, with Giorgia, Elodie, The Kolors and Achille Lauro, and a solid singer-songwriter representation with Simone Cristicchi, Brunori Sas and Francesco Gabbani. What is surprising, however, is the openness to artists outside the Festival's traditional mold, such as Lucio Corsi and Serena Brancale, who promise to bring new sonic nuances to the stage. Finally, Fedez returns, ready to put behind him the controversy of two years ago, when his live kiss with Rosa Chemical stirred public opinion.
