The most popular facilities are those associated with soccer in its different forms (5-a-side, 11-a-side, 7/8-a-side soccer), followed by volleyball, basketball, and tennis, with a strong emphasis on fitness. In Italy, approximately 400 disciplines are practiced. This means there are about 400 possible marketplaces. There isn't enough time to capture the padel boom that pickleball starts becoming popular. Due to this demand, there is a global proliferation of companies that specialize in the development of sports facilities. This is due to a unique talent that involves the integration of beauty, sustainability, customer service, and the well-being of athletes, employees, and the public. At the most recent Paris Olympics, numerous Italian companies, including Technogym, Mondo, Myrtha Pools, and the international brand Piscine Castiglione, participated in addition to athletes. Other notable companies include Filippi boats and Beretta. Or DZ Engineering, based in Romagna, which planned and installed the lighting for Formula One's first night Grand Prix in 2008 at Singapore's Marina Bay Circuit.
