Simon Hunt is Campari's new Chief Executive Officer. He will succeed current interim co-CEOs Paolo Marchesini, chief financial and operating officer, and Fabio Di Fede, Chief Legal and M&A Officer. The manager has extensive expertise in international markets, particularly the U.S. market. He spent 14 years at William Grant&Sons, owner of the world's best-selling single malt Scotch whisky portfolio, as well as relevant brands in the gin and tequila categories, until becoming CEO from 2016 to 2020. Then, after two years as a strategic advisor to chief executives and BoDs of premium spirits companies, he was appointed CEO of Catalyst Spirits, a spirits brand incubator, where he led the company's strategic initiatives and brand innovation through digital platforms. Catalyst Spirits is the operating company behind brands such as Howler Head, in which Campari had acquired a minority stake and distribution rights in 2022, which is currently being divested. At Piazza Affari, Campari's stock closed up 4.32% at €6.09 euros, positioning it as the best blue chip.In 2023 Campari had sales of €2.9 billion with a net profit of €330 million.
