Between estimates, sponsorships, and income, the valuation of the ten main Formula One teams has reached a new high of 231 billion dollars (with the season nearly finished), demonstrating the expanding popularity of an extremely appealing athletic phenomenon. Scuderia Ferrari leads the rankings with a valuation of $4.78 billion, up 52% from last year (when it was valued at $3.13 billion). Mercedes-AMG Petronas of Germany (3.94 billion) and Oracle Red Bull Racing of Austria (3.5 billion) round out the top three. On the other side, the US team Haas and Kick Sauber (formerly Alfa Romeo) close the standings with 'just' 1.2 and 1.02 billion, respectively. The fact is that all of the teams are now valued at over one billion dollars. Revenues from large teams are also increasing fast, driven by a variety of causes (race promotion fees, media rights, sponsorships, and supplementary sources such as Paddock Club ticket sales), with Mercedes dominating with a turnover of €680 million in 2023. Ferrari is also making progress, collecting $619 million, as is Red Bull ($555 million).
