Record-breaking feat for Lorenzo Lotti, 28, a marathon runner, sports councillor from Predappio (Forlì-Cesena) and physical education teacher. During the Tidewater Strider Dismal Swamp 100k in Chesapeake, Virginia, he ran 100 kilometers pushing a stroller in 8 hours, 1 minute and 40 seconds, beating the previous record by more than an hour. The race, held in extreme conditions with temperatures of -7 degrees, met the strict requirements of Guinness World Records. In the stroller, baby Rodolfo slept peacefully for seven of the eight hours of the race. This is not the first time Lotti has signed a similar feat: two years ago, in the Netherlands, he set the world record on the 50-kilometer run together with his eldest son, Raimondo.
