Skyline Stories has once again illuminated the center of Times Square, New York. Carmela Rizzuti, a photographer from Palermo, was the sole Italian artist selected by the Art Innovation organizers for her 2021 work, "Fonte luminosa," out of 35 artists from around the globe. The Sicilian artist, originating from Caltabellotta, is increasingly being asked to display her work at the world's most prestigious photographic exhibitions. The show combines digital art projections on four LED screens, transforming the famous venue into a platform for visual innovation. Skyline Stories is more than just a digital art exhibition; it investigates the role screens might play in changing the urban landscape. It also converts Times Square into an open-air digital gallery, blurring the lines between architecture and innovation. Carmela Rizzuti's photographs have been published in a variety of specialized magazines since 1995; her first solo exhibition took place in Palermo in 2014, and it was followed by numerous exhibitions, including several Biennials in Italy and abroad, at the European Museum of Modern Art in Barcelona and the Pintér gallery in Budapest.
