Five days of meetings, comparisons, new opportunities to be made available to Tuscany. It was an extremely positive balance, a mission to California that saw the President of the Regional Council Antonio Mazzeo, Regional Councillor for the Economy and Tourism Leonardo Marras and a delegation of regional councilors. The mission had two main objectives: to support start-ups and innovative SMEs selected for the "Toscana Tech on the Road" project by promoting innovation and internationalization of Tuscan companies, and to create international collaborative relationships to strengthen regional policies. The activities of the "Toscana Tech on the Road" companies were held at Casa Toscana, the region's space inside Innovit, the Italian Innovation and Culture Hub of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Silicon Valley. There, 11 selected Tuscan companies had the opportunity to introduce themselves and present their products to potential investors and representatives of important economic and academic realities in the area. In parallel, thanks to the work and support of Italian Consul General in San Francisco Sergio Strozzi, the institutional delegation had the opportunity to visit and learn more about some leading companies in the technology sector, including Apple, NVIDIA and OpenAI, as well as Stanford University.
