Forecasts for 2025 do not offer an encouraging picture of the Italian economy. According to a survey conducted by Termometro Politico study center, only 30.4% of Italians believe that the national economy will improve compared to 2024, while for 23.4% the situation will remain unchanged. The most significant share, 44.8%, fears a worsening or sharp deterioration. More optimistic, on the other hand, are the forecasts for personal economic prospects: almost half of the respondents (48.8%) expect stability for their household budget. Pessimists, who fear a worsening, stop at 29.9%, while only 19.9% hope for an improvement.
