On January 7th, British multi-world champion Lewis Hamilton, the new Ferrari driver, turned 40, and the Maranello team dedicated a short video to him. The video featured a red cake on a table with the words “Happy Birthday, Lewis". It was all done with simplicity, as everyone awaits the adrenaline of the upcoming races. The Prancing Horse has scheduled tests for Hamilton at Fiorano around January 20 and at the Barcelona track at the end of the month. From February 20th, the new car will be presented in anticipation of the pre-season tests in Bahrain (February 26-28). The season begins on March 26 with an appointment in Melbourne. Meanwhile, Ferrari's other driver, Charles Leclerc, wanted to pay tribute to his former colleague, Carlos Sainz, who joined Williams. There were plenty of differences between them, but in their four years together, "he helped me improve in so many ways with his work ethic, talent, discipline, and everything he brought to the table. He was an incredible teammate, and I believe that if we’ve made progress today, a big thanks goes to Carlos", added Leclerc.
