The successes of Italian tennis and the phenomenon Jannik Sinner are boosting not only tennis but the whole racket sports industry. Not only from a sporting perspective, but also in terms of marketing, resulting in new trends such as sports tourism. These aspects will take center stage at Racquet Trend, scheduled for March 7–9 at Fiera Milano. Tennis, padel, pickleball, beach tennis, table tennis, and squash: the entire world of rackets will be represented at Racquet Trend with dedicated areas where enthusiasts can find industry innovations, try out 22 courts, and participate in clinics, events, competitions, and shows featuring champions, VIPs, and legends of these sports. The racket industry is experiencing significant growth. Currently, tennis is played by 3.3 million people in Italy, while padel has 1.2 million participants. Pickleball, which has seen a boom in the U.S., is gaining ground in Italy with 100,000 players. These are followed by beach tennis (50,000 athletes), table tennis (20,000), and squash, which has 8,000 practitioners.
