"Italy has always been a pioneer on so many things. We will always be ready, we are already very ready". With these words, Daniele Orsato commented on the possible introduction of DRT VAR and explanations to the public in Serie A, innovations that have already been tested in England and may soon arrive in our league as well. The AIA's new commissioner for the development of refereeing talent expressed full support for these reforms during an interview with Radio Anch'io Sport on Rai Radio 1. "We are available to implement any new reform that can help referees and the world of soccer. If UEFA, FIFA, and IFAB feel that Italy can try certain experiments, we will be at the forefront," said Orsato, who also spoke about his new role within the Italian Referee Association.
