Juan Bernabè, Lazio’s long-standing falconer, was dismissed from the club after sharing social media images and videos linked to the application of a penile prosthesis. The man, who has been in charge of flying the eagle Olimpia before home games at the Olympic Stadium since 2011, made the operation public through his own channels, stirring controversy and debate. During an interview with Radio24's La Zanzara, Bernabè stated that he underwent the surgery to improve his sexual performance, explaining his decision to share the video for supposed "medical purposes". His comments and the contents released were not well received by either the fans or the club, who deemed the behavior "serious" and quickly terminated all ties with the falconer. This is not Bernabè's first issue; in 2021, he was suspended for reacting to fan chants with a Roman salute, which drew criticism for his political views. Lazio is now without its renowned falconer and will need to recruit a new manager for Olimpia.
