In 2025, a typical family with an indexed price supply contract in the free market will face an increase of about €350 on electricity and gas bills. According to estimates by Facile.it, the annual bill could exceed €2,930, an increase of 13.6% from €2,583 in 2024. The analysis is based on forecasts for commodity price trends, particularly the PSV (reference for the wholesale price of natural gas in Italy) and the PUN (wholesale price of electricity), for the year 2025. The most significant increase will be in gas bills: for a typical family, annual spending will rise from €1,793 in 2024 to €2,044 in 2025, an increase of €251. The electricity bill, on the other hand, will increase by €99, from €790 to €889.
