2024 ends with a decline in the Italian publishing market, which recorded a loss of 2.4 million copies sold compared to the previous year, equivalent to -2.3%. A total of 104 million copies were sold through trade channels (physical and online bookstores, supermarkets). According to a NielsenIQ-GfK analysis, the fall is also represented in economic terms, with a 1.5% decrease in value, resulting in a €23.2 million loss for a total of €1.534 billion in sales.
