Yesterday morning, Pope Francis suffered an accident at Casa Santa Marta, sustaining a bruised right forearm. The Holy See Press Office reported that no fractures were reported, but the arm was immobilized as a precautionary measure. This is not the first time the Holy Father has suffered an injury: last December 7, 2024, Pope Francis had slammed his chin against a nightstand, causing a large hematoma on his face. In spite of the injuries, the Pope has continued to stay busy, regularly holding his audiences and scheduled appointments.
