The 75th edition of the Sanremo Festival has reached one of its milestones: after press previews of the songs, according to Sisal experts, Giorgia remains the main favorite for the final victory, offered at 4.00. Her track “La cura per me” ("The Cure for Me") surprised with its strong intensity. Olly, given at 6.00, positively surprised with a fresh and engaging performance: the young rapper from Genoa is a candidate as the main antagonist of the Roman singer-songwriter. Next, paired at 7.50, are Achille Lauro and Irama, now familiar faces of the kermesse. The former, comes to the stage with “Incoscienti giovani” (“Reckless Youth”) a ballad with 80s sounds, while the latter sings “Lentamente” (“Slowly”) toward a possible success. After the ratings Rocco Hunt is given the winner at 9.00, with a song that seems to take him back to 2014 recalling the hit “Nu juorno buono” (“A Good Day”)in its sounds. On the other hand, Elodie’s electronic sounds, could reserve some surprises with her song but falls in the eve's anticipations: the singer-songwriter's success is offered at 16 on par with Brunori Sas and Noemi. It is definitely a tough road for Modà and Serena Brancale, both at 100, followed by rapper Emis Killa, at his first participation in Sanremo, and Rkomi, who returns to the Ariston stage with a song following “Il ritmo delle cose” (“The Rhythm of Things”), offered at 200. Closing out is veteran Marcella Bella whose first success at the Ariston would pay 300 times the stakes.
