A 30-year-old Moroccan national was arrested in Naples on charges of affiliation with the intent to commit international terrorism or subvert the democratic system. The police operation, which was coordinated by the Neapolitan Public Prosecutor's Office's anti-terrorism unit, also resulted in the search of other individuals associated with the man. According to police, the young man joined ISIS and distributed multimedia propaganda and training materials for the terrorist organization via the internet. In addition, he would have expressed "violent projects" against the Jewish community of Naples, as well as the desire to obtain a knife in order to carry out terrorist acts.
