The Intesa Sanpaolo banking group is back alongside SMEs in their expansion into the United States. After the success of the mission to Silicon Valley promoted last September by Banca dei Territori - the subsidiary led by Stefano Barrese - which accompanied 12 startups on an acceleration path thanks to the partnership with Innovit, the group in fact held its first initiative of 2025 with the meeting “USA: Challenges and Opportunities”. The seminar, dedicated to 800 Intesa Sanpaolo corporate clients and organized as a webinar, was opened by the speeches of Barrese and the Consul General of Italy in New York, Fabrizio Di Michele, which were followed by those of Lewis Eisenberg, former U.S. Ambassador to Italy, and Regina Corradini D'Arienzo, Managing Director of Simest. In this way, the bank is again this year extending its project to promote made in Italy abroad, with the aim of supporting Italian companies in the U.S. market, but also to attract foreign investment in Italy through synergies with partners and institutional bodies, such as Development Agencies and Banks, Embassies, Consulates, Simest and ICE.
