An unbelievable incident took place Tuesday night outside Allianz Stadium in Turin, Italy, when a 35-year-old German man showed up at entrance 12 trying to gain access to the stands. Despite the fact that Juventus was busy in Bruges for the Champions League and no other event was scheduled, the man insisted, unwilling to accept the vigilantes' explanations. In an obvious state of confusion, the German attacked the security guards and, when the first Carabinieri patrol arrived, reacted violently toward them as well. A furious scuffle broke out, during which the man seemed to gain the upper hand. To stop him, the military decided to tase him, hitting him with two darts. Incredibly, instead of falling to the ground, the 35-year-old man hurled the darts at the ground and attempted to flee. Law enforcement officers, supported by other patrols, managed to chase him down and stop him after a difficult struggle. Getting him into the car was not easy either, but he was eventually taken to the CTO, where he was staked out overnight. Two Carabinieri, however, were injured during the operation, with prognoses of 10 and 7 days. The man, probably under the influence of drugs, was arrested for resisting a public official. At the moment, he could not explain why he was in Turin or why he wanted to enter Allianz Stadium.
