Radja Nainggolan has been arrested in Belgium for international cocaine trafficking. The former Cagliari, Roma, Inter and Spal midfielder is under interrogation, according to local media reports. Some 30 searches were carried out between Antwerp and Brussels as part of the investigation. The investigation concerns drug trafficking from South America to the port of Antwerp, the player's home city. Confirming the news was the Brussels Public Prosecutor's Office through prosecutor Julien Moinil, adding that Nainggolan is among those arrested and that "in respect of the presumption of innocence, no further information will be provided". His new club, Lokeren-Temse in the Belgian second division (with whom Radja made his debut on Friday with a goal directly off a corner kick), has not commented on the news.
