The Gulf of Trieste will play an important role in the Vespucci ship's return to Italy. To honor it, on March 1st, "Barcolana Special Edition" will take place, involving all maritime enthusiasts, while in the sky, there will be a performance by the Frecce Tricolori. The Mediterranean Tour will commence in Trieste - where the ship will remain until the end of March - and conclude in Genoa, with the new format "Village in Italy" designed to inform Italians about the events of the world tour in a variety of formats, including immersive experiences, documentaries, and the voices of the protagonists. Barcolana Special, organized by Barcolana in collaboration with the Ministry of Defense and Defense Services Spa, will mark the Vespucci's return to Italy while also serving as the first stage of the Mediterranean Tour, which will sail along the Italian coast before arriving in Genoa on Navy Day, June 10. The training ship, an Italian Navy symbol, will arrive in Trieste after a 20-month cruise that covered 43 thousand kilometers and visited 33 ports in 28 states across five continents.
