The Sanremo Festival has lost one of its most anticipated performers, rapper Emis Killa, due to legal issues. The musician has decided not to participate in the singing event following the news of the investigations against him initiated by prosecutors in the "Doppia Curva" inquiry, led by the Anti-Mafia District Directorate, into the criminal activities of ultra-fan groups linked to Inter and Milan soccer clubs. In late September, the investigation led to 19 precautionary measures and the dismantling of the two Milan supporter groups. During a search of the rapper’s home in Vimercate, authorities found knives, brass knuckles, and a taser. “After 15 years of my career, I was excited to attend my first Sanremo. I appreciate Carlo Conti's invitation, but I'd rather take a step back and not participate. I am confident that everything will be addressed as soon as possible, for the best, and I hope to be able to attend a Festival in the future where music is central".
