The family of Luca Canfora, the 51-year-old costume designer who was found dead in the waters off Capri on September 1, 2023, has filed a complaint believing the suicide, which investigators consider more plausible, to be an improbable hypothesis. Canfora was on the island for the making of "Parthenope", the film by Paolo Sorrentino, when his body was found by a group of canoeists. In light of the complaint, authorities have ordered new investigations. Meanwhile, the costume designer's brother has been summoned by the Mobile Squad for February 18. Reporting on the family's doubts and the call for further investigative leads is the paper Il Fatto Quotidiano.
