In the Senate, the center-right majority voted, compactly, for an agenda of the League that proposes to the government an exemption to return to exporting hydraulic material to Russia and Belarus, both hit by harsh sanctions from the EU triggered after the occupation of Ukraine. The center-right voted "yes" to a document calling for the reopening of exports of products for sanitary systems, taps and copper pipes, the latter with an internal diameter of less than 50 millimeters, because otherwise they could be used for war. A very important production sector, that of hydraulic material, especially for the economy of Lombardy. From the Democratic Party they point out that Giulio Terzi di Sant'Agata (Fratelli d'Italia), former Foreign Minister, "also voted yes to this agenda, despite the fact that his position has so far been of total support for the Ukrainian cause".
