After enchanting audiences with a touching rendition of Lucio Dalla's "Felicità" and setting the Ariston Theater on fire with his "Born With a Broken Heart" as a superhost at the last Sanremo Festival, Damiano David has announced "Next Summer", the new single out February 28, which comes after "Born With a Broken Heart", "Silverlines" and "Nothing Breaks Like A Heart", a 2018 worldwide hit by Mark Ronson ft. Miley Cyrus released as a special reimagining by Damiano for Spotify on Valentine's Day. "On a first listen, the song is about young love, an unrequited summer romance. But on a deeper level," Damiano David explains, "it reveals a much broader reflection. It is a metaphor for life: how sometimes we can be prisoners of ourselves, of our fears, our insecurities, our inability to change. Our inability to see the world and life from a different perspective at crucial and defining moments of existence". Meanwhile, anticipation is growing for the World Tour 2025, which will see the artist engaged in more than 30 dates across Europe, Australia, North America, South America and Asia, with several dates already sold out. First stop will be Warsaw (COS Torwar) on September 11.
