Arianna Manfredini made history in Italian women's volleyball by becoming, at 13 years and 4 months, the youngest player ever to debut in Serie A. The special moment occurred on Saturday, March 29 at Cremona's PalaRadi, during the match between Casalmaggiore and Concorezzo, valid for the Serie A2 Pool Salvezza. At 24-16 in the third set, with the home team leading, Manfredini took the court in place of team starter Giorgia Faraone, to the audience's acclaim and the enthusiasm of her teammates. "Being the youngest player to debut in Serie A is an extraordinary achievement that required a great deal of dedication. Now I'm ready to take on new challenges", stated the young athlete.
